Dear Vegetable Husband Customer,

Life is full of opportunities if you are open for them. Sunday I was fortunate enough to be invited to a mushroom workshop for some of our farmers and hosted by Duane Marcus, the director of the Decatur Farmers Market and a farmer himself. Dear Vegetable Husband Customer,

I hope you all had a fun Halloween weekend.  I enjoyed seeing fall and spooky decorations all over our communities in Atlanta.  Now we are in November and it is full-on food season.  The crops are coming in for all sorts of beautiful veggies, along with the variety of apples we are fortunate enough to access here in Georgia.  Thanksgiving is of course the harvest party of the year and it is only weeks away now.  For this week, we are harvesting not only the beautiful Read the rest of this entry »

They harvested your Read the rest of this entry »

Dear Vegetable Husband Customer,

You will notice that you have a container of southern grapes in your basket today are coming from Love is Love Farm. The green fruit is the scuppernongs and the dark ones are muscadines. They are great to just eat but many people are bothered by the cluster of seeds inside the meat of each grape (my mouth is watering just typing this! Lol). Some people eat the skin, some just chew eat and then discard. If you have ANY questions about this Read the rest of this entry »
